According to him, the restoration of the road from D. Sadyrbaev (Bakha) Street to Chortekov was completed last year; however, residents claim that the asphalt began to deteriorate after the first winter.
The greatest concern is the section at the intersection of Sheralieva and Berdibayev Streets, where, according to city dwellers, potholes have formed in the road, and the surface itself has become wavy.
“Less than six months have passed since the repair, and the road is already covered with potholes. This is clearly substandard work,” the complaint states.
Residents are asking the authorities to pay attention to the current condition of the street and to conduct an inspection of the quality of the work performed.
Response from the City Hall
According to the press service of the Bishkek City Hall, based on information from the municipal administration of the Lenin District, on February 3, 2026, during an inspection of roads and sidewalks repaired in 2025, defects were found on Berdibayev Street in the "Archa-Beshik" residential area. In some sections of the road, potholes and asphalt surface deterioration were observed. In this regard, the district akim instructed the contracting organization to rectify the deficiencies as soon as possible and to pay special attention to the quality of the work performed.Representatives of the company OsOO "TS Group" reported that they are currently engaged in temporary repairs and have committed to fully restore the damaged sections of the road with the onset of warm weather.
