Artists of the opera and ballet theater gave a concert in honor of the opening of the S. Kasmambetov library in Balakchy

On March 12, a concert was held in Balakchy to mark the opening of a new library named after Saparbek Kasmambetov — an outstanding Kyrgyz manaschi, Turkologist, and researcher of the epic "Manas." The event featured soloists from the Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. Maldybaev.

The organizer of this event was Cholpon Junushbaeva, the director of the local school of arts named after Bulat Minzhilkiyev.

Among the performers were the honored artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Irina Ryabina and international competition laureates Gleb Kim and Leonid Rukavishnikov. They performed well-known romances, including "Chrysanthemums," "No, He Did Not Love," and "Return of the Romance." The concertmaster for the event was the honored artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Yulia Babich.

Additionally, students from vocal departments in Cholpon-Ata, Kara-Balta, and the village of Belovodskoye also delighted the audience with their performances of romances and songs.

The children had a unique opportunity to interact with professional artists in a relaxed atmosphere, ask questions, and learn more about the behind-the-scenes of the theater.

The evening concluded with a round table discussion on the teaching of vocal music to children. The theater soloists, possessing rich experience in this field, shared their methodologies and approaches to teaching.
