Lieutenant General Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, head of the GKNB, held a meeting with representatives of the country's business community, as reported by the press service of the agency.
According to the directive of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, as of January 2026, unjustified inspections of entrepreneurs have been terminated.
This event is part of the implementation of a new policy aimed at creating more favorable conditions for doing business.
Shabdanbekov noted that stable business operations are crucial for the country's economic growth, the creation of new jobs, and the formation of a tax base. He emphasized that the meeting provides an opportunity for open dialogue, where entrepreneurs can voice their opinions and discuss existing problems.
According to the chairman of the GKNB, honest businesses should operate freely and confidently. The main task of law enforcement agencies is to protect the economy, not to create obstacles. He added that in case of pressure on entrepreneurs, the GKNB is ready to provide protection. The only requirement is openness and honesty in business.
During the discussion, entrepreneurs shared their proposals and thanked the GKNB leadership for the opportunity for direct dialogue, emphasizing the importance of transparency in inspections. They also suggested more active communication regarding legislative changes.
Shabdanbekov, in turn, assured that all facts of illegal actions by officials or administrative barriers against businesses would be addressed strictly in accordance with the law. However, he also warned that any individuals in the business community engaged in illegal activities would be held accountable under the law.
In conclusion of the meeting, the chairman of the GKNB emphasized that only through mutual respect and partnership between the state and business can sustainable economic development and prosperity in the country be achieved, urging entrepreneurs to engage in honest activities.
