Local residents note that the lack of a sidewalk forces children to walk to school on the roadway, creating additional safety risks for them. The situation is exacerbated by the fact that some drivers exceed the speed limit and behave aggressively on the road.
According to the villagers, a separate road is designated for heavy vehicles; however, drivers continue to ignore this rule.
In response to the residents' appeal, the press service of the Bishkek city administration reported that a collective request had been submitted to the municipal inspection. It addresses the problems caused by the movement of freight transport on the intra-block street leading to the quarry, which is damaging the asphalt.
Following this, an on-site meeting was held between representatives of the municipal inspection and the contracting organization with local residents. The authorities confirmed the facts of the road being exploited by heavy vehicles. An agreement was reached that the company OsOO "Jamalgay" would take on the responsibility of restoring the road before the start of the summer season. It is also planned to redirect freight transport to an alternative route after weather conditions stabilize. The municipal inspection has taken control of the situation.
