According to information from the Eurasian Economic Commission, Aigul Ryskulova has been appointed as the head of the Department of Labor Migration and Social Protection.
Ryskulova, born in 1964 in Frunze, now Bishkek, is the daughter of the famous People's Artist of the USSR Muratbek Ryskulov. She is married and raises a son.
Having received a legal education at Kyrgyz State University, she continued her studies in Moscow, where she graduated from the Academy of Labor and Social Relations with a degree in "Labor Economist".
In her professional field, Aigul Ryskulova has gained experience in the judicial system, government institutions, and international organizations. She has held key positions in the field of social protection, leading the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, as well as the State Committee for Migration and Employment.
From 2014 to 2018, Ryskulova served as the acting vice-mayor of Bishkek, responsible for social issues. From 2020 to 2024, she represented Kyrgyzstan in the Commission on Economic Issues under the Economic Council of the CIS.
Aigul Ryskulova has been awarded numerous state honors, including the "Dank" medal and the title of "Honored Worker of the State Service of the Kyrgyz Republic".
