It should be noted that B. A. is the brother of Aziz Beknazarov, who holds the position of deputy head of the Sverdlovsk ROVD in Bishkek. Previously, B. A. was dismissed from his position after the detention of his subordinate, an investigator from the Osh Department of Internal Affairs, on suspicion of receiving a bribe.
According to the GKNB, B. A. held the position of head of the GKNB in Cholpon-Ata from December 2025 to February 2026.
On February 15, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev of his duties as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov was appointed as the acting chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
Additionally, three deputy chairmen of the GKNB were dismissed.
On February 14, there was a change in the leadership of the Main Department of the GKNB in Bishkek: Ulan Biibosunov was appointed to replace Eldar Jakypbekov. On February 15, Jakypbekov was detained.
On February 16, Salmoor Jumabekov was removed from the position of head of the GUK GKNB for Osh and the Osh region.
