On the same day, March 23, the court reviewed the case of Mahabat Tajibek kyzy, releasing her from custody on a signed undertaking not to leave.

During the two years spent in detention, her son, who is the child of journalist Bolot Temirov, was with his grandmother, as his father had been deported from the country.

In January 2024, the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained 11 journalists and activists associated with the Temirov LIVE and "Ait, ait dese" projects, charging them with organizing mass riots.

On October 10, 2024, the court sentenced Mahabat Tajibek kyzy to 6 years in prison, and Azamat Ishenbekov to 5 years. These decisions were upheld by both the city and the Supreme Court.

Journalists Aktilek Kaparov and Aike Beyshekeeva received 3 years of probation, while 7 other defendants were acquitted.

In April 2025, Ishenbekov was released on a presidential pardon.
