In Bishkek, a meeting was held between the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and the Secretary General of the OSCE.

On March 24, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the OSCE, Feridun Sinirlioğlu. This was Sinirlioğlu's first visit to the country since his appointment, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

During the discussions, the parties focused on three key aspects of security cooperation: military-political, economic-ecological, and humanitarian. The main attention was given to supporting democratic processes, combating corruption and organized crime, as well as issues of digitalization and reforming the judicial and law enforcement systems, economic growth, ecology, and climate change.

Additionally, during the meeting, issues of regional integration in Central Asia, modern security threats, and the potential for using OSCE mechanisms to overcome them were discussed.

Kulubaev and Sinirlioğlu agreed on the need to support and expand the work of the OSCE Academy located in Bishkek, which was also reported.
