On Monday, no precipitation is expected across Uzbekistan, except in the foothill and mountainous areas, where rain mixed with snow is anticipated, reports Uzhydromet.
From December 23 to 24, no precipitation is expected throughout the country; however, light snow is possible in some areas of Tashkent region and the Fergana Valley during the night and morning of December 23.
On December 25 and 26, precipitation, mainly in the form of snow, will occur in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region. In Tashkent region, rain and snow are also possible on the 26th. No precipitation is expected in other regions on these days.
Nighttime temperatures will range from -3 to +2 degrees, while during the day on December 22, temperatures will be from 0 to +5 degrees. From December 23 to 25, temperatures will gradually rise to +5…+10 degrees, and on December 26, +2…+7 degrees are expected.
The wind will be easterly, with speeds ranging from light to moderate. Fog is possible in some areas. On December 22 and 23, icy conditions are expected on the roads in places.
In mountainous areas, snowfalls are possible, creating avalanche-prone conditions.
In Tashkent, from December 22 to 25, predominantly dry weather is expected, but light snow is possible during the night of December 23. Fog may be observed in the morning and at night, with an easterly wind blowing at a speed of 3−8 m/s. Icy conditions are also possible on the roads on December 22 and 23.
Nighttime temperatures in Tashkent will range from -1 to +2 degrees, while during the day on December 22, temperatures will be +2…+4 degrees. From December 23 to 25, temperatures will gradually rise to +7…+9 degrees.
On December 26, precipitation, mainly rain, is expected, and temperatures will decrease slightly.
