Kyrgyz citizens in the 'Saharovo' center in the Moscow region are held in difficult conditions

A deputy called on the authorities to take measures to protect migrants from illegal deportation and issues with documentation

At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Aigul Akhmedova raised the issue of the difficulties faced by Kyrgyz citizens working in Russia. She noted that many compatriots who ended up in the Ministry of Internal Affairs database through the "Amina" app are mistakenly classified as violators of migration legislation.

These individuals are sent to the temporary detention center "Saharovo," located in the Moscow region, where they often remain in difficult conditions for up to a month, awaiting release.
It should be noted that "Saharovo" is an institution intended for the temporary detention of foreign citizens subject to deportation or under administrative control.

The deputy emphasized that the process of document preparation and registration costs migrants up to 70,000 rubles, and some of them remain unemployed for several months while waiting for their turn to obtain the necessary documents.
She called for the simplification of legal employment procedures for Kyrgyz citizens in Russia and the protection of their rights from illegal deportation.
