
On the evening of January 21, another flight arrived in Tashkent, carrying 44 Uzbeks who were returned to their homeland from the USA.
As reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Akhror Burkhanov, all of them were in the United States illegally.
He noted that this flight was organized in cooperation with the relevant American agencies for the "safe and timely delivery" of Uzbek citizens.
Burkhanov also emphasized that efforts to protect the legal rights of citizens abroad and their return to their homeland continue.
According to aviation services, the flight was carried out using a Boeing 767−300 aircraft from the American company Omni Air International, which also conducted a deportation on October 10.
The plane took off on January 20 at 6:50 El Paso time, Texas, and landed in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, at 12:30 (22:30 Tashkent time).
After that, it departed at 14:43 and landed in Bucharest, Romania, at 5:33 (8:33 Tashkent time) on January 21. Then at 9:43, the plane left Bucharest and arrived at Zvartnots Airport in Yerevan, Armenia, at 13:39 (14:39 Tashkent time). At 15:39 (16:39), it departed for Tashkent, where it landed at 19:21.
