The magazine Variety reports that "Zootopia 2" has become the highest-grossing animated film in the history of Disney.

The earnings of the new film reached an impressive total of $1.46 billion, surpassing the previous record-holder, the animated film "Frozen 2," which earned $1.45 billion.

The publication notes that the majority of these revenues came from international screenings. In the U.S., "Zootopia 2" earned $333 million, while outside the United States, the total was $1.13 billion, with more than half a billion coming from China.
