Today, January 21, a meeting of the organizing committee was held in Bishkek under the leadership of the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Arslan Koichiev, where issues related to the preparation of the anniversary Issyk-Kul International Forum were discussed.
The first forum, which took place in 1986, was initiated by Chyngyz Aitmatov and gathered creative figures from various countries.
In his speech, Arslan Koichiev noted that the goal of the Issyk-Kul Forum is to promote humanitarian values, deepen international dialogue on pressing global challenges, and strengthen intellectual cooperation. He emphasized the importance of increasing Kyrgyzstan's role in international humanitarian initiatives.
Additionally, he stressed that all events related to the preparation of the forum should be organized at a high level and in accordance with international standards.
The participants of the meeting also discussed the importance of aligning the forum's title and its themes with current global trends, and put forward a number of proposals and remarks.
At the end of the meeting, the State Secretary instructed to ensure the constant and systematic implementation of the approved action plan in connection with the approaching dates of the forum.
