According to information provided by the prosecutor's office, 1,205 individuals have been declared wanted, which has led to the temporary suspension of enforcement proceedings in their cases.
Over the past year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs received 1,124 cases regarding payers who systematically evade alimony. Following their review:
- 280 debtors were fined;
- 63 individuals were assigned to community service;
- decisions were made to refuse to initiate criminal cases in 244 instances;
- 18 cases were returned for correction of deficiencies;
- 143 cases were closed;
- 376 cases are currently under review.
In 2025, 690 million 541 thousand 822 soms were collected for alimony obligations.
The General Prosecutor's Office notes that efforts to hold debtors accountable continue, and evading alimony payments carries legal consequences.
