In Kyrgyzstan, more than 1,200 citizens are wanted for evading alimony payments, as reported by the General Prosecutor's Office in response to a request from the Kabar agency.

According to information provided by the prosecutor's office, 1,205 individuals have been declared wanted, which has led to the temporary suspension of enforcement proceedings in their cases.

Over the past year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs received 1,124 cases regarding payers who systematically evade alimony. Following their review:


In 2025, 690 million 541 thousand 822 soms were collected for alimony obligations.

The General Prosecutor's Office notes that efforts to hold debtors accountable continue, and evading alimony payments carries legal consequences.
