At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, a bill titled "On Labor Protection" was discussed and approved in the first reading.
Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration Kamchybek Dosmatov noted that this bill aims to create safe and healthy working conditions for employees, prevent accidents and occupational diseases, as well as improve the labor protection system both at the enterprise level and at the state level for further enhancement.
The draft law establishes a legal framework for effective monitoring of compliance with labor safety norms and standards, and also creates conditions for increasing employers' responsibility for the quality of working conditions.
