The employment of the population plays a key role in the distribution of time throughout the day. This statement is confirmed by a study conducted by the National Statistics Committee titled "Time Budget Survey."

According to the results of this study, men and women working in various sectors—from government and private enterprises to farms and entrepreneurship—spend approximately one-third of their daily time on work obligations.
The free time of the working population, as the data shows, constitutes between 7 to 14 percent of the day, while household chores take up no more than 15 percent of their time.

For individuals not engaged in labor activities, the amount of free time is almost twice that of those who are working, allowing them to devote more attention to studying, self-care, and household responsibilities.

It should be noted that the lack of time for work activities among women is not due to a reluctance to work. The main reason is the high burden associated with managing the household, raising children, and caring for elderly family members. As a result, they are left with very little time even to meet basic physiological needs.

Overall, in the country, men spend more time on paid labor than women, which, according to the study's data, confirms their status as the primary breadwinners in households.
