The test operation of the new cable car has begun in the Ala-Archa Natural Park. This information was reported by a correspondent from the Kabar agency.
Currently, engineers from Doppelmayr, a well-known global leader in the design and maintenance of cable lifts, are conducting technical tests. This is part of the commissioning process.
Specialists are finalizing the safety system settings and preparing the lift for load testing. At the same time, training is underway for the staff who will subsequently be responsible for the safe operation of the cable car.
According to information provided by the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, after all technical procedures and successful tests are completed, the cable car will be ready to welcome its first visitors. The official opening is expected to take place around February 14-15, but the exact date will be announced later, after all tests are completed.
It is worth noting that the construction of the cable car in the Ala-Archa Natural Park began in January 2025. The length of the route will be 23 kilometers, making this project one of the largest infrastructure facilities in the country's tourism sector. The launch of the cable car is expected to significantly enhance the park's appeal to tourists and improve access to its natural beauty.
