On December 22, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, participated in an informal meeting of the heads of states of the CIS, which took place in St. Petersburg.

At the event, he was welcomed by other participants — Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The meeting was opened by President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Initially, a tour of the State Hermitage was organized for the delegates, where they were able to familiarize themselves with the Alexander and George Halls, as well as with unique exhibits.

The main part of the meeting took place in the George Hall, where the leaders discussed the results of the CIS's work and outlined priorities for 2026.

Thus, the participants of the meeting summarized the work done and outlined further steps for cooperation within the organization. ```
