Employees of the Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety are on duty in an enhanced mode

In connection with important events taking place in the country, the Main Department for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is operating in an enhanced mode on the streets of Bishkek and in the Chui region.

The staff of the Main Department for Road Traffic Safety is carrying out a number of activities aimed at ensuring safety on the roads, regulating traffic, and maintaining order. Special attention is paid to the arrival of foreign delegations, their protection, and ensuring safe road traffic.

In addition, the service is actively engaged in the evacuation of vehicles improperly parked on main roads, as well as monitoring the order of individual mobility devices, such as scooters and segways, to ensure they do not obstruct traffic. Pedestrians are also being informed about safety rules and are urged not to enter the roadway.
Bishkek is expecting the arrival of heads of state from CSTO member countries to participate in a meeting of the Collective Security Council.

The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, as Chairman of the Council, will conduct this meeting.

This was reported by Sagynbek Abdumutalip, head of the foreign policy department of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

“The event will take place on November 26-27, 2025, in Bishkek and will be an important event marking the final stage of Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in the CSTO,” he specified.

Leaders expected to participate include President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

Following the meeting, it is planned to sign more than ten decisions aimed at strengthening collective defense mechanisms, improving cooperation in the field of security, and expanding collaboration in the military-political sphere.

In 2026, the chairmanship in the CSTO will pass to the Russian Federation, ensuring continuity and further development of joint initiatives within the organization,” added Sagynbek Abdumutalip.
