Due to sudden changes in weather conditions, the staff of the Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety (GUBDD) has activated an enhanced operational mode. This is done to create safe and comfortable conditions for motorists, as well as to prevent traffic jams and accidents on the roads.
In the territory of the republic, GUBDD staff are monitoring the roads, regulating traffic flows, and conducting informational work with drivers. They are also checking the technical condition of vehicles and taking necessary measures to enhance road safety.
Particular attention is being paid to the routes Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart and Bishkek–Osh. Along mountain passes, round-the-clock monitoring is being conducted in collaboration with other services to ensure safe and uninterrupted traffic flow.
GUBDD strongly recommends that drivers keep an eye on weather changes, strictly adhere to traffic rules and speed limits, and pay attention to the technical condition of their vehicles.
