The deputy head of the Patrol Police Department, who was present at the raid, emphasized the importance of the technical soundness of the buses and adherence to safety standards while driving.
As a result of the inspection, protocols were drawn up for violations against both the bus drivers with inadequate technical conditions and the officials responsible for monitoring the release of vehicles.
Preventive conversations were also held with the drivers, focusing on the necessity of adhering to traffic rules and timely technical maintenance of the buses to avoid emergency situations.
The PPD states that such inspections will be regular to enhance the safety of both citizens and passengers.
