Drivers are strongly advised to change summer tires to winter ones
Due to adverse weather conditions, restrictions have been introduced on the Bishkek - Osh highway.
According to the latest data from the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic, as of the morning of October 29, starting from 9:30 AM, temporary restrictions for heavy trucks have been implemented at the Too-Ashuu pass (restriction since 9:00 PM on October 28) and the Ala-Bel pass (restriction since 9:30 PM on October 28).
Additionally, the Otmok pass on the Suusamyr - Talas - Taraz route has been closed to all vehicles due to bad weather. Workers from the road maintenance service No. 36 are currently engaged in clearing the road and spreading inert materials.
The Ministry of Transport urges drivers to follow traffic rules and to take care of changing summer tires to winter ones in advance.
