The state enterprises "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tushtuk" and "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tunduk" continue active work on road clearing and the application of a sand-salt mixture to improve the passability of the routes.
As of the morning of October 29, temporary restrictions for freight transport remain in effect at the Toо-Ashuu and Ala-Bel passes since 21:00 on October 28.
On the section of the road Suusamyr–Talas–Taraz, in the area of the Otmok pass, traffic for all vehicles has been temporarily suspended. Road workers are engaged in clearing the roadway and treating the road with inert materials. It is expected that in the next hour, traffic for passenger cars will be restored.
The Ministry of Transport urges drivers to adhere to traffic rules, avoid entering the oncoming lane, and to install winter tires on their vehicles in advance.
