The Ministry of Transport and Communications reported that the first layer of asphalt has been successfully laid on the Bishkek—Kant—Tokmok highway, and this section has already been put into operation.
As clarified by the department, temporary road markings have been applied on the updated section, allowing for two-way traffic organization.
According to the project, additional works are planned for the segment from 5+200 to 9+050, including the laying of the top layer of asphalt, major repairs of the bridge, as well as the creation of sidewalks and drainage ditches.
The major repairs cover a section of 3.85 km, which runs from the village of Novopokrovka to Lermontov Street on the Bishkek—Kant—Tokmok highway.
