An important update in the field of justice has occurred in Kyrgyzstan: the Ministry of Justice has introduced a new electronic system for issuing licenses for legal practice. This was reported by the ministry's press service.

This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the Law "On the Licensing and Permitting System in the Kyrgyz Republic" and is part of an Action Plan aimed at digital transformation from 2024 to 2028.

Now electronic licenses will be placed in the State Register of Lawyers, access to which is possible through the official website of the Ministry of Justice. This will allow citizens and government agencies to check the current status of a lawyer's license online at any time.

The transition to an electronic format eliminates risks associated with the loss or damage of licenses, as well as removes the need to reissue or obtain duplicates. In addition, it significantly saves budgetary funds by eliminating the use of paper documents.

In the near future, there are plans to integrate electronic licenses into the mobile application of the state platform "Tunduk".

The Ministry of Justice continues its work on digitalization, striving to enhance transparency and efficiency in ensuring citizens' rights.
