Today, October 22, 2014, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic between the Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almambet Shykmamatov, and representatives from the Danish Institute for Human Rights, Sigrid Christiansen, and the Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights, Gerrit Zah.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues related to the project for promoting the rule of law in the Kyrgyz Republic. It is worth noting that in September of last year, a Financial Agreement was signed between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union for the project "Promotion of the rule of law in Kyrgyzstan with a special focus on transparency and accountability."
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the need for further work on promoting the specified project and its prompt implementation. They also discussed the planned activities and the progress of the implementation of the Plan within the framework of this project.
The parties also particularly stressed that this cooperation should lead to good results for the project.
