The main goal of the new legislation is to implement the presidential decree regarding the approval of the Concept of Digital Transformation for 2024-2028, issued on April 5, 2024, under number 90. The law also aims to fulfill item 7 of the protocol directive from the Administration dated January 10, 2025, and to optimize the work of law enforcement agencies within the framework of the "Safe City" component in the "Smart City" project.
According to the amendments, it is proposed to:
- deliver documents such as rulings, protocols, resolutions, and orders to participants in proceedings on offenses electronically;
- additionally inform individuals involved in offense cases by sending documents via email or SMS;
- establish a procedure for the delivery of electronic documents and their transmission through other electronic communication channels, which will be regulated by the Cabinet of Ministers.
