Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, has signed a law concerning reporting for a number of non-profit organizations.

According to the new legislation, starting from 2026, political parties, trade unions, religious organizations, and cooperatives that use grant funds will be required to publish information about their income, expenses, and assets on the tax service's website no later than April 1 of each year.

The financial reports of these organizations will not be protected as commercial secrets. The government will determine the form and procedure for submitting such reports.

The changes affected the laws "On Political Parties," "On Trade Unions," "On Cooperatives," and "On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations."

This law will come into effect ten days after its signing.
