According to the information from the department, work is currently being carried out on the section from the 2nd to the 22nd kilometer. Here, road widening and earthworks are being conducted, which are 85% complete. Additionally, 46 culverts are being installed, and two bridges are undergoing reconstruction.
On the section from the 9th to the 11th kilometer, the laying of two-way asphalt has already been completed, while work on the foundation preparation and asphalting continues in other areas.
Funding for the construction is provided through state capital investments.
The ministry also emphasized that the Arashan–Chunkurchak road has significant tourist importance, as it leads to a ski resort and recreational areas.
