According to their data, snowfall has affected most regions of the country, and road services are working around the clock to ensure the roads are clear. The state enterprises "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tushtuk" and "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tunduk" are continuously applying a sand-salt mixture to the roads.
As of the morning of November 4, restrictions for freight transport remain in place on the following sections:
— To-Ashuu Pass (from 7:00);
— Ala-Bel Pass (from 5:10);
— Otmok Pass on the Suusamyr — Talas — Taraz route (from 7:00).
The Ministry of Transport urges drivers to avoid driving in oncoming lanes, strictly follow traffic rules, and replace tires with winter ones in advance.
