Due to the onset of snowfall in the country's mountain passes, work is being carried out to spread anti-skid material.

According to information from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, specialists from DEP-9 are spreading inert material on the roadway at the Too-Ashuu pass. Simultaneously, similar activities are being conducted by employees of DEP-23 and DEP-30 at the Ala-Bel and Kok-Bel passes on the Bishkek–Osh highway, as well as at the Otmok pass on the Suusamyr–Talas–Taraz route in the Talas region and on the Ala-Buka–Zhany-Bazar–Kirovka highway in the Chatkal district.

The Ministry of Transport reminds all drivers planning trips through the Too-Ashuu, Ala-Bel, Kok-Bel, Otmok, Chapchima, and other mountain routes about the importance of replacing summer tires with winter ones. This will help avoid road traffic accidents.
