In Talas, the construction of a new water intake and reservoir is underway, as reported by Ermat Jumayev, the presidential representative in the Talas region, in an interview with the Kabar agency.
Previously, only 45% of the city's population had access to the water intake, while the remaining residents used technical water that was extracted from underground by their own means.
“This year we began the construction of a reservoir with a capacity of 2000 m3 and a new water intake. We expect them to be put into operation within a month. This will provide 100% of the city's population with clean drinking water. Additionally, work is ongoing in various areas of the region to improve water supply,” added Jumayev.
