The planned water shutdown will be carried out
On October 27, there will be no access to drinking water in certain areas of Bishkek. This information was provided by the city authorities.
According to their data, water supply will be suspended from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM for residential buildings, educational institutions, kindergartens, medical facilities, and other social infrastructure and industrial objects.
The shutdown zones cover the following streets:
- Ch. Aitmatov Avenue – Ayni Street – Vodoprovodnaya Street – Sukhomlinov Street – Vodoprovodnaya Street – Tselinnaya Street – Polytechnic Street – Tash-Kumyrskaya Street.
- The area of the old airport, Ak-Keme hotel.
The reason for the shutdown is repair work on a 300 mm diameter water main.
The municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" apologizes for any inconvenience and recommends that residents and organizations stock up on drinking water in advance.
