The potential of cryptocurrencies is growing in the world - expert

The potential of cryptocurrencies continues to increase, as economist Ulukman Mamytov reports in an interview with the Kabar agency.

In his opinion, the world is on the brink of a financial crisis, which is already affecting the rise in gold prices. In the event of a possible crisis, gold and cryptocurrencies may become the main financial instruments, but it is important to remember the high risks associated with them.

“Cryptocurrencies are becoming increasingly popular and are actively developing on the international stage. They are starting to be used as an investment tool capable of generating significant income. However, successful investing requires specialists who are well-versed in this field and capable of making informed decisions. Given the current market conditions, it is crucial to prepare the appropriate personnel by investing in universities and training IT specialists in the field of cryptocurrencies and blockchain,” he added.

Mamytov also noted that the global economy and financial system, according to him, are approaching a crisis, which is confirmed by the rise in gold prices. In the event of such a crisis, cryptocurrencies and gold may become key assets. “Thus, the potential of cryptocurrencies is becoming increasingly relevant, but they should be approached with caution, taking into account the high global risks,” concluded the economist.

He also emphasized the importance of creating a domestic cryptocurrency system and information platform to preserve financial resources within the country.

“With the growing interest in cryptocurrencies, Kyrgyz citizens are beginning to consider the possibility of investing in digital assets, which could lead to capital flight abroad. To retain funds in the country, it is necessary to develop a domestic system. For example, Kazakhstan has created a financial center to keep investments within the country. Kyrgyzstan has the potential to become a regional hub for virtual assets. To achieve this, it is necessary to develop a strategy and closely monitor ongoing processes, gradually moving forward,” Mamytov noted.
