The National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan (NESC) has announced the introduction of temporary restrictions on electricity consumption during peak hours — in the morning and evening.

The company reports that from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, substations are experiencing overload.

In the event of an overload at a substation, to maintain its stable operation, the power on the meter will be automatically reduced from 5 kW to 3 kW. NESC strongly recommends avoiding the simultaneous use of high-power household appliances, such as heaters, irons, and washing machines, during the specified time intervals.

It is important to note that the restrictions are temporary and are based on clause 79 of the "Rules for the Use of Electric Energy," as well as on the agreement concluded between NESC and electricity users.
