In China, authorized bodies are conducting thorough inspections of grain shipments, including sampling and laboratory analysis in cities such as Urumqi and Beijing. The inspection process takes from five to ten days.
The current circumstances have negatively impacted the operation of Kazakhstan's infrastructure, leading to a queue of approximately 3,000 wagons with transit and export cargoes heading to China. This number exceeds the permissible limits for rolling stock awaiting transfer. Previously, the acceptance of these trains had been agreed upon with the Chinese side.
In order to maintain the stability and safety of infrastructure operations, JSC "NC "KTZ" has decided to impose temporary restrictions on the acceptance of certain grain shipments transported in container trains — no more than three trains per day.
These measures are temporary and necessary to optimize shipments in accordance with the actual readiness of the receiving infrastructure, which is outside the area of responsibility of KTZ.
