In the new residential area "Ken-Sai" in the city of Osh, the launch of the eponymous electrical substation took place, with a capacity of 110/10 kilowatts. The construction of the facility was completed ahead of schedule, and 18.5 million soms were allocated for its construction, reports the press service of the Osh city administration.

The opening ceremony was attended by local residents, as well as the Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev and the Mayor of Osh Jenishbek Toktorbaev.

The launch of the substation will ensure reliable power supply for the residential areas of "Ken-Sai," "Gulbaar," "Kenes," "Japalak," as well as about 3,000 households and 1,124 hectares of land in the Aravan district.

The new facility will help reduce the load on the "Uchar" (110/6 kilowatts) and "Gulbaar" (35/10 kilowatts) substations, which in turn will improve the quality and reliability of power supply in the southern part of the country.

According to Talaybek Ibraev, the "Ken-Sai" substation will become a key element of the region's energy infrastructure.
