In the rural district of Shumkar-Uya, located in the Talas region, a traditional harvest festival took place, gathering local residents.

The festive events included sports competitions, and to encourage participants, 200,000 soms were allocated from the local budget for prizes.

The event was attended by the head of the village administration, Bakyt Kydyraiev, and the chairman of the village council, Altynbek Borukeiev, who congratulated everyone on the harvest festival.

The sports competitions took place in the villages of Taldy-Bulak and Sasyk-Bulak. Local residents competed in horse racing, kok-boru, wrestling, and national wrestling (uluttyk kuresh), for which they received cash prizes.

As part of the festival, yurts were set up, tables were laid out for guests, and cultural workers prepared musical performances for the audience.
