Due to heavy snowfall, restrictions on the movement of freight vehicles across the country's passes continue. The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic has provided this information.
According to the agency, snowfall is observed at the Otmak pass (Suusamyr-Talas-Taraz road) and the Too-Ashuu pass (Bishkek-Osh road). Road services No. 9 and No. 36 are engaged in clearing the roads and adding inert materials.
Restrictions for heavy vehicles at the Too-Ashuu, Ala-Bel, and Otmak passes remain in effect.
The Ministry also strongly recommends that drivers traveling on mountain routes change summer tires to winter tires in advance, avoid driving in the opposite lane, and strictly adhere to traffic rules.
