In connection with the upcoming meeting of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Bishkek, the police have switched to an enhanced operational mode.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, law enforcement officers are engaged in maintaining public order, preventing offenses, ensuring road safety, and responding promptly to potential emergencies.
Additionally, to reduce the load on the transport system, educational institutions such as schools and universities will temporarily switch to online learning formats.
It is worth noting that more than 4,000 personnel from the Bishkek and Chui garrisons will be involved in maintaining public order and safety.
"Dear citizens, during the period of state-scale events, we urge you to show understanding and follow the instructions of the police, who are working to ensure safety and regulate traffic," the statement reads.
