As part of this campaign, a number of activities are being carried out:
checking the technical condition of trucks;
identifying unauthorized additional light and sound signals;
monitoring compliance with traffic rules by truck drivers;
conducting explanatory work on road safety issues.
Thus, in the Nookat district, only in one day, 8 trucks with illegally installed additional equipment were recorded. The owners of these vehicles received protocols and fines amounting to 5,500 soms.
From November 3 to 6, 918 traffic rule violations were registered. Of these, 12 drivers were detained for driving under the influence of alcohol.
In addition, 77 vehicles were placed in the impound lot.
