On November 5 of this year, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Bishkek—Osh highway became dangerous for traffic due to snowfall.

The agency noted that to avoid traffic jams and prevent emergency situations on the road, it was decided to strengthen the work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations staff.

Temporary heating points have been organized for drivers and passengers, where rescuers provide hot meals.

As of 12:45, 199 trucks were temporarily stopped at the posts "Sosnovka," "Alim," and "Aral" to prevent traffic jams, and this will continue until weather conditions improve.

It was previously reported that fog and snowfall were also registered at the Töö-Ashu pass due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions. As a result, restrictions for trucks at the "Sosnovka" post remain in effect.

Turmush reported that the previous day, due to ice and poor weather conditions, restrictions were imposed on the passage of trucks through the Ötmäk pass. A checkpoint has been established at the exit from the Talas region, where vehicles without winter tires are also not allowed. The restrictions remain in place as a significant amount of snow fell overnight.
