Passengers report that some drivers attempted to bypass the jam by moving into oncoming traffic, which led to conflicts with those waiting in line.
According to the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, information about possible changes in weather conditions was published in advance, and drivers were reminded of the necessity to adhere to traffic rules.
“Inspectors are on the scene. Restrictions for trucks have been implemented at the ‘Sosnovka’ post, and vehicles equipped with summer tires have been stopped,” the official statement clarifies.
