As of November 4, 2025, due to adverse weather and difficulties with snow removal, the movement of heavy vehicles on the Bishkek–Osh highway in the area of the "Sosnovka" post is temporarily restricted. These measures are aimed at preventing road traffic accidents.
On November 4 and 5, employees of the Sosnovka police station, in cooperation with the road safety department of the GUVD Chui region, are conducting explanatory work with truck drivers. Hot drinks and food have been organized at the post for them, providing comfort in difficult conditions.
In addition, conversations are being held with drivers about the importance of adhering to traffic rules, preventing emergency situations, and ensuring safety on the roads. These activities will continue until weather conditions improve.
Considering the snowfall, icing, and reduced visibility, police officers strongly recommend that drivers remain vigilant, adhere to established speed limits, and maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
Furthermore, the press service of the road safety department of the Chui GUVD noted that inspectors are distributing hot tea and food to drivers. Employees of the traffic safety units of the Chui region are working on the Bishkek–Osh highway in an enhanced mode.
