From November 25 to 27, 2025, temporary restrictions on vehicle movement are expected in Bishkek and the Chui region. This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
These restrictions are related to the holding of the next session of the Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
The restrictions will apply to the following areas:
- the highway from Manas International Airport to the border of Bishkek;
- Fuchik Street from the border of Bishkek to Chui Avenue;
- Chui Avenue from Fuchik Street eastward to Manas Avenue;
- Manas Avenue and Ch. Aitmatov Street south to the State Residence "Ala-Archa";
- certain sections of J. Abdrakhmanov, S. Ibraimov, and M. Frunze Streets.
To minimize traffic load, educational institutions, including schools and universities, will temporarily switch to online learning formats.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges citizens not to leave their vehicles on the shoulders of the specified roads, to avoid driving heavy vehicles unless necessary, and to strictly adhere to the requirements of traffic police officers and traffic rules.
