Due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions, heavy snowfall is observed in many regions of the country, and road clearing operations continue without interruption.
According to information from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, the state companies "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tushtuk" and "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tunduk" are processing the roads around the clock with a sand-salt mixture. The roads remain open for traffic.
As of 09:15 on November 6, temporary restrictions for heavy trucks are in effect on the Toо-Ashuu and Ala-Bel passes located on the Bishkek–Osh highway. Further details will be provided later.
The Ministry reminds drivers of the need to adhere to traffic rules, not to drive into oncoming lanes, and to install winter tires in advance.
