At an extraordinary session of the capital city council, Vice Mayor Ramiz Aliyev stated that no facilities in Bishkek have been closed as a result of electricity-saving measures.

Deputy Rysbay Amatov raised the issue of the need to limit electricity in the "Miscellaneous" section, urging the city administration to provide the necessary data. According to him, the mayor of Osh conducted explanatory work, while the mayor of Bishkek did not provide similar information, which created a certain vacuum.

Ramiz Aliyev noted that earlier in the capital, raids were conducted to monitor compliance with established electricity limits and the "Silence Law." He emphasized that no closures of facilities had occurred: "We only made recommendations for compliance with limits and noise regulations." Some business owners reported having generators, but they cause noise, so they were advised to use sound insulation.

According to the "Silence Law," the following restrictions on sound pressure levels are established:

— weekdays: from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM;
— weekends and holidays: from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM.

President Sadyr Japarov previously expressed dissatisfaction with the excessive strictness of the nighttime raids by the mayors of Bishkek and Osh in the context of electricity conservation and maintaining public order.
