In order to ensure peace and quiet for the residents of the capital, the Bishkek city hall has decided to strengthen control over compliance with the Law "On Silence".

According to information from municipal authorities, owners of catering establishments and cultural and entertainment venues (including clubs, restaurants, bars, and banquet halls) are required to end all events no later than 10:00 PM.

“After 10:00 PM, all electrical devices, including stoves, heaters, and ovens, must be turned off. It is also prohibited to hold events with loud music, bright lighting, and any other activities that may disturb the peace of citizens. However, establishments located at a significant distance from residential areas may use generators provided they strictly adhere to the requirements of the silence law,” the official statement notes.

District administrations and the municipal inspection have been instructed to monitor compliance with these rules and regularly conduct control raids.
