According to information from the city administration, the supply of heat will be carried out in stages. First, heat will be directed to social institutions — hospitals, kindergartens, schools, and maternity homes. After that, the connection of residential buildings and other institutions will begin.
It is expected that the process of connecting heat throughout the southern capital will be completed within three to four days.
In 2023, the heating season in Osh started on November 4, while in 2024 it began earlier — on the night of October 29 to 30.
