In recent weeks, the Bishkek city administration has recorded cases of burning household waste and used motor oil, as well as other prohibited materials. This raises serious concerns, as such actions lead to the release of toxic substances into the atmosphere.

According to local authorities, air pollution negatively affects the health of the capital's residents and worsens the ecological situation in the city.

“The inspection conducts regular raids on baths, saunas, and private facilities to identify cases of waste burning, including automotive oils and paint materials, as well as plastic and rubber,” the official statement reports.

Furthermore, the inspection warns that burning waste and other prohibited materials is subject to administrative liability according to part 3 of article 115 of the Code of Offenses.
